What’s Cooking at Our House ~ Menu

This week is a busy one at our house. The kids have their SAT’s 3 days, a couple of field trips in the afternoons afterward, and we have a holiday to celebrate…
So when I was making out our menu this week, I was thinking about what we have on hand and what would be easy…

Here goes our week:
Our breakfast list is simple:
Cereal, muffins, Scrambled Eggs, homemade protein shakes, (the kids will get eggs and muffins with protein shakes the last 3 days of the week ~ they’ll need the protein for their brains *L* )
Monday ~ Pinto beans, bacon, potato cakes (using left-over mashed potatoes)
Tuesday ~ Spaghetti with meat sauce, garlic bread, salad
Wednesday ~ St. Patrick’s Day meal ~ Reubens (fitting the corned beef in there), home fries (got the potatoes), cooked cabbage, and for dessert we’ll have Laced Cookies
Thursday ~ Polish Sausage Dogs with fresh bakery buns, some toppings, corn on the cob, and chips
Friday ~ Papa Murphy’s pizza (while we are going to be out, I’ll just pick a couple up)
Saturday ~ Chicken Francese with penne pasta, fresh baked rolls, green beans, and salad
Sunday ~ Soup and Sandwiches (Bacon Topped Grilled Cheese sammies with tomato soup)

  2. I love Polish sausage, but never thought to eat it like a hot dog. You're genius!

The rest of your menu sounds good, too. Reubens are the perfect way to get in that corned beef.
